By Car
Toulouse to Lisbon:
From Toulouse, take the A64 southwest toward Bayonne, then cross into Spain via the A-63 to San Sebastián. Continue on the AP-8 and A-1 through Burgos and Salamanca, then enter Portugal via the A62. Follow the A6 and A2 south to arrive in Lisbon. The journey takes around 12 to 13 hours, depending on traffic and stops.
Paris to Lisbon
Leave Paris heading southwest on the A10 through Orléans and Bordeaux. Cross into Spain and continue via San Sebastián, taking the AP-8 and A-1 to Burgos and Salamanca. Enter Portugal on the A62, and follow the A6 and A2straight into Lisbon. Expect about 17 to 18 hours of driving.
Brussels to Lisbon
From Brussels, head south on the A2 and A1 toward Paris, then take the A10 to Bordeaux. Continue into Spain via San Sebastián, following the AP-8 and A-1 through Burgos and Salamanca. Cross into Portugal on the A62, then take the A6 and A2 to reach Lisbon. The trip takes roughly 19 to 20 hours.
Start in London and take the M20 to Folkestone, where you’ll cross to Calais via the Eurotunnel or Dover ferry. From Calais, drive south on the A26 and A1 to Paris, then continue on the A10 to Bordeaux. From there, head into Spain via San Sebastián, taking the AP-8 and A-1 through Burgos and Salamanca. Cross into Portugal on the A62, then follow the A6 and A2 south to reach Lisbon. The whole journey takes about 20 to 22 hours of driving, so plan for a few scenic stopovers!
