Fly into Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS) is the best way to get into the country. The airport is just 10 km from the city centre. Lisbon only has one main airport.

Uber and Bolt are your best friend. Please download the apps before flying. From St George’s Church to Adega Regional de Colares is around 45 mins via Uber or Bolt. (Highly Recommended)

Public Transport to Sintra:

Lisbon to Sintra line from Rossio Station (40 min ride).

From Sintra Station we recommend that you take an Uber/Bolt (~15 min) to Colares.

Please note that if you’re taking public transportation you will need to get a Navegante card and ensure it’s topped up before you travel.
